I am just as riled as you that I am being falsely attributed as writing the Obama song. The lads did a great job of getting it out there and lazy bloggers are getting it wrong.
These two videos, mine and the Nancy Boys', are letting those white Irish-American voters know that a black man can be as Irish as them, and not a Muslim terrorist that can't be trusted, as they have been constantly told.
This means actual votes in swing states. For whatever reason, the Nancy Boy's song, which started life as a parody, has become a force for good and is gaining momentum here in the US. I have been told by a number of people who know that it actually has the potential to effect a paradigm shift amongst 46 million Irish American voters here in the US.
